The Dirty Thirty

This Friday and Saturday, the Portland metropolitan area will enjoy the experience of going without. Without what you might ask? An organized fast, an annual car free day, or carving the school year down another day because of budget cuts? Not even close.
I'm confident Portland will enjoy the peace and quiet afforded by the mass migration of an informal bike club known as the "Dirty 30." The D30's will be testing their metal, and whatever cartilidge remains in their knees, at an annual event called The Gathering in Renton, Washington.
A testament to the effectiveness of over the counter pain relief medicines, the D3o continue to ride against all common sense and instincts of self preservation. They ride not for the love of money, or fame, but because they just love it. I salute you, Dirty 30.

Tony eyeing up the mini-ramp section. This is all we got before the camera died, although I'll vouch for the fact that Tony was riding really well last night.
