The Dirty Thirty

This Friday and Saturday, the Portland metropolitan area will enjoy the experience of going without. Without what you might ask? An organized fast, an annual car free day, or carving the school year down another day because of budget cuts? Not even close.

I'm confident Portland will enjoy the peace and quiet afforded by the mass migration of an informal bike club known as the "Dirty 30." The D30's will be testing their metal, and whatever cartilidge remains in their knees, at an annual event called The Gathering in Renton, Washington.

A testament to the effectiveness of over the counter pain relief medicines, the D3o continue to ride against all common sense and instincts of self preservation. They ride not for the love of money, or fame, but because they just love it. I salute you, Dirty 30.

Photos:

Tony eyeing up the mini-ramp section. This is all we got before the camera died, although I'll vouch for the fact that Tony was riding really well last night.

Se Vende

This is merely to let the world know we have T-shirts. And a new bike. It's an integrated HT/Mid BB Fall Guy.

Pricing details on both items are foggy. Probably around what the market will bear.

The T-shirts are nice. American Apparel, sizes medium and large in either grey with green ink or baby blue with brown ink.

Enjoy the photos of the T-shirt, the new bike's unpainted head tube, painted BB, and Tony's son Seth. He's serious about being 3.

Tonic Fab will be at the Gathering with a decent size booth. We'll have nothing in it but a nice table, some chairs and a cooler. Stop by, say howdy, and momentarily make it look like there's something actually going on at Tonic Fab.

I'm going to the track tonight.

Test-erossa

A Blog has been a long time coming for Tonic Fab.
I want to thank long time Tonic Fab friend, and blazing 'cross racer, Ian Brown for setting this Blog up. Ian is also responsible for the design and look of our website. He's a talent for sure.

Check here regularly for things that relate, and don't relate to Tonic. I hope this can at least be entertaining, and therefore arguably worth your time. Myself, Tony and Jon will all be using the Blog, and this oughta keep things interesting.

Attached is a photo to check make sure we can attached photos. Here's one of Raya and I, keeping it pinned!
